What is Magnetic?

KA and KC were introduced to the concept of "predicting" in Science, Given a tray of items they were asked to put the items they thought would stick to a magnet on one piece of coloured paper and items they thought would not stick to a magnet on another. Look closely and see if there are any items that might have surprised them when they tested each item out! (Answers at the bottom of the page!)
Magnetic: the blades of the scissors, paperclip, safety pin, some of the spoons, the metal on the clothes peg
Non-magnetic: keys, coins, ruler, cotton wool, book, rubber, leaf, plastic counter, pencil
